The terms that apply to our website and our study-abroad and visa services.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of https://optimumoverseasconsultants.com and to the services provided by OPTIMUM OVERSEAS CONSULTANTS (“Optimum Overseas Consultants”, “we”, “us”). By using our website or engaging our services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

Please note: visa, admission and immigration decisions are made only by the relevant universities, embassies and government authorities. Optimum Overseas Consultants cannot guarantee any visa, admission, job or approval, and no one on our behalf is permitted to promise one.

About us

OPTIMUM OVERSEAS CONSULTANTS is an education and visa consultancy based at SCO 32, Fisrt Floor, Sector 96A, Mohali, Opposite Manav Mangal Smart School,Punjab -140308 India, serving clients since 2011.

Registrations and licences: Government Licensed Consultancy — Licence No. to be added; ICEF Certified Education Agency — Certificate No. to be added; Registered with Ministry of External Affairs — Reg. No. to be added.

Our services

We provide career and study-abroad counselling, course and university selection, admission applications, visa and immigration documentation guidance, application filing support, interview and pre-departure guidance, and related services described on this website. The exact scope, deliverables and fees of your service are set out in your written service agreement or invoice. If that agreement and these Terms differ, the agreement applies.

Where a destination country allows only licensed practitioners to give immigration advice or represent applicants for a fee (for example Canada, Australia or the United Kingdom), that part of the work is handled by, or referred to, an appropriately licensed representative, and we will tell you who that is.

No guarantee of outcome

Every application is decided by the relevant institution or government authority at its sole discretion. Their decisions, processing times, fees and rules are outside our control and can change without notice. We will prepare your file carefully and with honest advice, but we do not and cannot guarantee a visa, admission, scholarship, job offer, work permit or permanent residence.

Your responsibilities

  • Give us complete, true and up-to-date information and genuine documents only.
  • Tell us promptly about any change — for example a new job, marriage, previous refusal, or travel history.
  • Read and check every form before it is submitted; you are responsible for the information in your application.
  • Attend biometrics, medicals, interviews and tests on time and pay government fees by the deadlines given.

Submitting false or misleading information can lead to refusal and to bans of several years from the destination country. We will not knowingly submit false information and will stop working on any case where we find misrepresentation, without refund of fees for work already done.

Fees and payments

  • Our professional fees are confirmed in writing before work begins. GST and other taxes apply as per law.
  • Government, embassy, visa-centre, university application, tuition, test, medical, courier and other third-party fees are separate and are paid directly to that party or passed on at actual cost with receipts.
  • Please make payments only to our official business bank account, UPI or at our office, and always ask for a receipt. We never ask for payment into a personal account.

Refunds and cancellation

  • Refund terms for each service are stated in your service agreement. Unless it says otherwise, professional fees are non-refundable once work on your file has started, because they pay for time and expertise already provided.
  • Third-party fees (embassy, visa centre, university, test, courier, etc.) follow that third party’s own refund rules; we do not control them.
  • A visa refusal or delay, or a change in your own plans, does not by itself make fees refundable unless your agreement says so.
  • Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 15 working days.

Communication

By contacting us or submitting a form, you agree that we may reply and send updates about your case by call, SMS, email or WhatsApp. Promotional messages are sent only with your consent, and you can stop them at any time. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Use of this website

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to hack, overload, scrape or disrupt it, or submit false enquiries.
  • All text, graphics, logos and design on this website belong to OPTIMUM OVERSEAS CONSULTANTS or are used under licence. Do not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
  • Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or policies.
  • Website information is general guidance and may not reflect the latest rules — see our Disclaimer.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Optimum Overseas Consultants is not liable for any refusal, delay, loss or cost caused by decisions of institutions or authorities, changes in law or policy, incorrect or incomplete information or documents provided by you, or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability in connection with any service is limited to the professional fees you paid us for that service.

Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our control, including changes in immigration law or policy, closure of embassies or visa centres, strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, war or technical failures of third-party systems.

Ending the service

You may end our engagement at any time by writing to us. We may end it if you breach these Terms, provide false information or fail to pay agreed fees. Fees for work already done remain payable, and your original documents will be returned to you.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern amicably. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown on this page, with its “Last updated” date, applies from the date it is published.
